Smog Gods are an increasingly common phenomenon and as captured here, are typically spotted very early in the morning, under cover of fog. This one appears to be preparing for their daily drink.

Some sun gods are so big, they can move with the earth's rotation, and bathe in sunlight forever. Smaller ones are forced to find light elsewhere, like the warm glow of this laundromat’s fluorescents.

Here, we have a rare glimpse at a small pod of Current Shepherds. Often referred to as ‘water wizards’ or ‘fish talkers’ by locals, these Daemons are always on the move. No one is sure whether they cause currents, or simply ride them. What is certain, is that the few people lucky enough to see them in person are sure to experience a great change in the days to come.

These freshwater mermaids have been reportedly spotted deep within the maze of sewers and tunnels that make up Rochester's abandoned Subway system. It is said they can be found there, luring weary travelers and lost urban explorers ever farther from their course, by way of their haunting songs.

Sightings of this protector spirit were first recorded in the early 1900’s, shortly after this factory building was built. Now nearly a century later, he remains, guarding the crumbling ruins of the building he swore to protect.

This spirit is said to appear only on extraordinarily quiet nights, when the air is flat and cold. Experts suspect she is likely a festival spirit blown off course.
